neil and i had a great christmas. it was another one of our great all day experiences, shuffling from one parent's home to another to another. phew! exhausting!! but we had a great time with everyone and we are really looking forward to the house warming party so we will get a chance to get everyone together in one place with us! :-) and neil's mom and mario gave us a super cool grill, so we cannot wait to fire it up! we got the propane tank yesterday, so we are getting party-ready already!! invites will be in the mail this week, so be looking for that in your mailbox soon. although i rpomised pictures, it was yet another occassion where i did not follow-through, despite my best efforts. it is so hard to stop in the moments and snap pictures, you know?? oh well. i'll survive somewhow. it's cold here today. i am excited, especially because i know it won't last at all!! good old florida. sheesh!! otherwise, we are just spending time with all our friends that are in town for the holidays. it's fun. and i think that this new year is going to be the best one of my life, so far, that is. i don't know why i have that feeling, maybe i read it in one of my horoscopes?? i know--i'm nuts.

Buisness as Usual.
I haven't taken any new photos that are worth posting this week, so just a little update.
My cousin Kayla had her baby yesterday--Molly. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces. I haven't seen any pictures yet, but eveyone has been saying that she is cute as a button. Kayla is doing well, and will be in the hospital until Friday or Saturday. It's pretty exciting. Now my Grandma is a great, my mom and my aunts are greats...and I'm a second? Hmmm, like Robyn said--us cousins got short-changed in this deal!!
Neil and I finally made the housewarming party invitations, so after we get all the copies made tonight, I will be making the envelopes and getting them mailed out as well.
Tonight we are going to "wrap up" our Christmas Shopping, all puns intended. I am looking forward to that! Hopefully Neil and I can get plenty of sleep on Christmas Eve, because it is rough on us having to bustle through 3 different locations and celebrations!! WHEW!
Tomorrow I am going back to see my doctor to get a referral to a neurologist. I got another migraine on Monday night, and I have tried both medications that I was given to test out, with no results. I guess it is back to the drawing board with my brain. I just need some relief at this point. I am finally feeling better today, but I have been sleeping a lot all week because the migraines just wipe me out. It used to be that I felt bad the next day, but now it is getting to the point that it takes several days to get back to feeling myself.
Next month is my first check up with the laser procedure that was done on my cervix in October, so I am hoping that will go well. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high, though. because I have been warned that it is common to have abnormal test results for the first few check-ups while the area continues to heal itself.
Other than that, things are buisness as usual. I will have more exciting pictures after the holidays, I am sure!!
xoxo,
~Dana.
